The Metuchen Volunteer Fire Company (MVFC) is an independent organization made up of the firefighters that volunteer to support the Metuchen Fire Department (MFD). The MFD is the sole agency responsible for providing fire and rescue services to the residents of Metuchen, New Jersey. 

The offering of fire services was started with all volunteers in 1882, and to this day we are still 100% volunteer.
